Powered by the Scania DC13 engine producing 294 kW with 1,930 Nm of torque, the DX490LC-7M provides outstanding digging and lifting power with smooth, reliable operation under extreme load. High pressure fuel injection and electronically controlled engine management ensure strong torque characteristics, reduced fuel consumption, and efficient response in demanding excavation cycles. The upgraded EPOS hydraulic system precisely matches engine output with pump flow, enabling higher efficiency, faster cycle times, and improved precision during complex digging and loading tasks.
Hydraulics.
The hydraulic system features dual 390 L per minute pumps, highly responsive control valves, and advanced pump matching technology to reduce wasted energy, maintain consistent performance, and minimise fuel burn. Relief cut off, auto idle, and selectable power modes allow operators to tailor machine behavior to challenging ground conditions while maintaining smooth movement and superior controllability. A heavy duty swing drive increases swing torque for rapid cycles, reduced rotation shock, and improved stability during repetitive truck loading.
