When the team at Safe Air Limited needed a new Tow Tractor, they knew that a Toyota Tow Tractor would be a very good option as the Royal New Zealand Air Force still has a number of older model Toyota Tow Tractor’s still in use at Ohakea. John Manning from Safe Air got in touch with AB Equipment and discussed the options for purchasing a new Toyota Tow Tractor. An order was placed for a Toyota 42-2TD25 fitted with the Toyota 2Z environmental friendly diesel engine. Before the delivery of the new Tractor the guys at Safe Air were using an older model Toyota which was on loan, all of the team are greatly impressed with their new Toyota 42-2TD25 Tractor. The guys at Safe Air are based at Ohakea in the Manawatu supporting the Royal New Zealand Air Force’s new Beechcraft T-6C Trainer. This support role includes hangar based maintenance, flight line support and supply chain activities. Safe Air’s new Toyota Tow Tractor is supported by the team at AB Equipment Palmerston North.
