Johnston R65t is a regenerative air type road sweeper. The wide screen broom, seen on the V65t, is replaced on the R65t with a full width suction box. This type of road sweeper is often preferred on dead-flat surfaces such as airport runways and taxiways. While the unit is quite different from the VT series sweeper, the build process is the same with dual steering fitted at the Bucher factory in Melbourne.
