The DEVELON DX225LC 7M is a next generation 22 tonne crawler excavator engineered to deliver exceptional power faster cycle times improved fuel efficiency and enhanced operator safety. The DX225LC 7M is equipped with the high output Develon DL06 six cylinder engine delivering 168 HP and a wide torque range at low RPM for strong consistent performance under load. The electronically controlled hydraulic pump and the advanced EPC plus SPC power management systems work together to match pump torque and engine speed optimising fuel use while preserving digging and lifting performance. This results in fuel efficiency improvements of up to fourteen percent and up to twenty percent in certain operating modes.

Hydraulic control is refined through the EPOSTM system which coordinates all major hydraulic functions for smooth independent and combined movements. Increased swing torque faster travel capability and a highly durable travel device support productivity on uneven or sloped terrain. The machine is compatible with a wide range of attachments supported by two pump high flow options breaker assist system and the newly expanded R2H plus and R2S plus bucket lineup.

Operator comfort and safety are significantly enhanced. The spacious cabin includes an eight inch touch monitor an adjustable suspension seat improved air conditioning and expanded visibility supported by enlarged windows and optional side and rear view cameras. The optional AVM around view monitor provides complete situational awareness by combining multiple camera angles into a full peripheral view reducing blind spots and improving safety in dense or high risk work areas. Additional safety features include seat belt alarm emergency stop switch protective guards improved lighting and ergonomic foot pedals.

Durability is built into every component of the DX225LC 7M. Heavy duty boom and arm structures are strengthened with increased plate thickness and single piece castings. The X chassis undercarriage includes sealed self lubricating track links sloped surfaces for debris shedding reinforced frames and floating sealed idlers. Engine protection is increased through a high capacity air cleaner double filtration hydraulic return filters water separators and pre cleaning systems. Extended service intervals accessible daily maintenance points wide opening panels and grouped grease points simplify upkeep and reduce downtime.
