With a shorter undercarriage featuring 43 triple grouser shoes per side, this model is engineered for exceptional manoeuvrability, improved turning performance and strong traction in confined or uneven work areas.

Built in Japan, the SH130DZ-6 combines the proven SPACE 5+ engine system and SIH S+ hydraulic system to deliver smooth, efficient power and excellent digging response. Three selectable working modes allow operators to optimise output for heavy digging, balanced performance or fuel saving. Automatic idling, power boost and refined hydraulic tuning ensure fast cycle times and reliable performance across New Zealand’s civil, construction and utilities sectors.
The factory installed blade provides additional functionality for spreading, backfilling, site tidy up and improved machine stability during heavy digging. Paired with the shorter track frame, operators benefit from tighter turning radius, reduced repositioning effort and improved mobility in roadside, residential or restricted access worksites.
Durability.
Durability is supported through a high rigidity boom and arm structure, reinforced mountings and Sumitomo’s long life EMS bushing system, extending service intervals and reducing wear in high impact applications. The short UC configuration maintains excellent balance and is designed to support frequent travel and levelling operations while keeping ground pressure manageable for typical New Zealand ground conditions.

Inside the ROPS certified cabin, operators enjoy a comfortable, low vibration environment with a large colour monitor, ergonomic controls, clear visibility and intuitive machine settings.
